We have hit that point in the growing season where things are really beginning to flourish.  Out in the fields of the Yakima Valley, the crops are like unruly children, fighting against the roots that hold them to the ground, trying to push out into the world.  All in all a splendid time for us to pay homage to the sun and earth in gratitude for the lavish bounty that is on the eve of being laid at our feet.  While a few things are now trickling out of the faucet of ripe goods, they are only the first drops to wet our toes in preparation for the gush of harvest time that is right around the corner.

Rooted set off into the valley to document the tight seams of ag before the full belly of summer pops the button right off.  Relish the satiety!
